Creating an architectural 3D model of an existing house ahead of designing and proceeding with building alterations is extremely useful when it comes to ensuring accuracy of the design and therefore reduces problems during the building works.
This house in Bournemouth was measured and then 3D-modelled before a new design for a loft conversion was developed.
From the 3D model, we can extract sections and floor plans, changing something in the model automatically updates the 2D drawings
